This program focuses on nurturing resilience and promoting physical activity among students. It emphasizes a supportive school culture, engagement with the wider community, and integration of physical activity into the young person's life. This includes training for education providers, targeted support for students, and collaboration with parents and carers.
This initiative promotes physical education, physical activity, and school sports to improve academic achievement, cognitive functioning, behaviour, concentration, self-esteem, and attendance. It offers resources and training to support schools in creating a physically active learning environment. These programs aim to create a holistic approach to student health, combining physical activity with mental health support to ensure students thrive both academically and personally.
We will be introducing two targeted intervention steps aimed at addressing the damage caused to the amygdala and hippocampus—critical areas of the brain that are often impacted by trauma. Such damage can hinder emotional processing, memory, and the ability to learn effectively.
Our program focuses on educating students about coping mechanisms and incorporating sports as an effective form of stress relief. This approach not only helps students manage their emotions but also equips them with practical tools to find healthier solutions to life’s challenges.
